Vermont Farmers Markets Open Year Round
Dec 26, 2008 Author: Jeff | Filed under: UncategorizedI’ve never been much for cold Winter mornings, afternoons or evenings for that matter, but when I read there are now 11 farmers’ markets open year round in Vermont I was impressed folks were willing to get up and brave the cold.
So what can you expect to find in the winter months at one of the Vermont farmers markets, according to North East Organic Farming Association of Vermont, potatoes, turnips, squash and more.

Funny, I just made kale tonight for the girls and they ate it up so fast there was hardly any left for my husband when he got home late from work!

I have to admit that I had never tried kale till Sunday night… I was amazed… I have been eating collard greens for years, but this was something completely different… I credit Curtis for my new found love for kale.
