I do believe Kale (know as Black Cabbage by my folks) was used in my parents Minestrone soup. Since I am 67 our family have been using it for many years. I love it just par boiled and saute with olive oil, garlic and S&P. Great bitter flavor. By the way I am Italian.
We’re always looking for new recipes… Staring next week we’ll have a section just for recipes… If you have the time to spend it in, we’ll be only to happy to post it.
I would love a great recipe for cream of potato and leek soup! Whoo!
