Screaming Fresh is about fresh food  and how to buy, store and cook with it.

The show’s creators are Curtis Aikens and Jeff Brooks.

Curtis is best known for his work as a host on numerous Food Network shows including “Food in a Flash,” “Meals Without Meat” and “Calling All Chefs.”

He previously worked as a contributor to ABC’s “Good Morning America,” hosting a segment called “Garden Grocery.” He has also made numerous appearances on the “Oprah Winfrey Show” where he gave tips on choosing fresh foods and even was a featured guest. Curtis has a lifetime of professional cooking experience,  ran his own produce company in Northern California for several years before overseeing the  produce departments of Dom’s Wholesale Market and Balducci’s.

Jeff has spent his professional career working in restaurants and in journalism. On the food side, he worked his way from dishwasher to sous-chef and served as produce buyer for a Hilton hotel restaurant. In addition, he has more than 12 years of experience as a producer for local and national television news with stints at NBC News and CNN. Most recently he served as a  field producer with the Fox News Channel.
